Enjoy the elegant kimono culture and matcha experience in Asakusa. Immerse yourself in the elegant kimono culture and traditions of Asakusa, Tokyo's oldest district. Choose from a variety of kimono styles and, as an added option, enjoy a professional photo shoot in the beautiful backstreets near the iconic Sensoji Temple. Upgrades such as furisode, houmongi, crested hakama, and lace kimono can be made on the day on site, so please ask our staff. You will also enjoy the unique taste of matcha, a Japanese green tea, and learn the correct way to drink it according to the Japanese tea ceremony tradition. Visit Kimono Rental Shop Yui, a 4-minute walk from Asakusa Station and a 2-minute walk from Kaminarimon. Choose from a wide range of kimonos and summer yukatas suitable for various occasions. Once you're dressed, our staff will provide you with a hairstyle and colorful accessories that suit you. Footwear (Japanese wooden sandals, geta) and a traditional handbag complete the dressing experience. Kimono Rental Shop Yui offers a wide range of kimonos, from easy-to-wear light kimonos for walking around the city to traditionally made silk kimonos for formal occasions. The experience will be complemented by a short lesson on how to drink matcha tea according to Japanese tradition. For the rest of the day, feel free to wander the beautiful streets of the Asakusa district at your own pace until 5:30 PM, when you will return your kimono. If you choose the photo shoot option, a professional photographer will accompany you and show you the most photogenic spots around Sensoji Temple and the Sumida River. The session will last 60 minutes, and your photos will be sent to you for editing and download within a week.

There are a wide variety of kimonos, and there are about 1,000 kimonos and yukatas to choose from! We also have kimono sets for men and children. The package includes exquisite hairstyles, hair accessories, and free hairstyles that match the style of the guest's hair amount, hair color, and kimono color. You can also bring your camera! Available in four languages: Chinese, English, Japanese, and Vietnamese, you will be dressed in a kimono or yukata, have a demonstration and explanation by a senior Japanese tea ceremony instructor, and enjoy traditional Japanese sweets and handmade matcha tea in a dedicated, authentic tea room. You can enjoy the tea ceremony while having your meal. The experience time is approximately 1 hour. You can continue walking around Sensoji Temple even after the tea ceremony. All you have to do is return the kimono by 5:00pm. We provide oil paper umbrellas, fans and other photography props for free, and also provide a professional photographer team and a follow-up package of high-quality and exquisite kimonos. Would you like to try making tea in a tea room? This is a long-established kimono shop, and includes rental and dressing in an authentic kimono. You can come empty-handed and try the tea ceremony wearing a kimono. After enjoying sweets and tea while enjoying the atmosphere of a tea ceremony, you will actually shake the tea whisk and make tea. Please enjoy seasonal sweets and tea. Even if you cannot sit in seiza, we will prepare chairs, so it's okay. Please feel free to join us alone or with friends. ~Experience flow~ (One example.
