This mountain range was named ``Showa Shinzan'' because it appeared during the reign of Emperor Showa. (1 hour recommended) *15:00 Approximately 10 minutes by car to Toyako Onsen Town Toyako Onsen is Japan's 3rd largest hot spring with the largest amount of hot water. It got its name because it is located on the shore of Lake Toya. It overlooks Lake Toya. The view of Mt. Yotei and the lake-colored mountains in the distance is attractive. (1 hour recommended) *At 16:10, we drove to the Nishiji Observation Deck, which is the best place to view Lake Toya.We were supposed to have a 180-degree view, but when we arrived, it was covered in heavy snow, and what appeared in front of us was pure white. The snowy scenery is very beautiful. The snow here is very white, unpolluted, and pure like a fairy tale world.
