Ready to become an Izakaya Master??Join us for a night of eating and drinking like a Sendai local down the atmospheric back-alleys of Bunka-yokocho and Iroha-yokocho! Undiscovered by most visitors to the city, these alleyways are a step back in time to retro post-war Showa Era Japan. Follow your nose down the lines of hundreds of tiny izakayas (Japanese pubs). As most only sit around 8-10 customers at a time, it can be a little intimidating to enter on your own, but on this tour, you'll be joined by a local guide! Let them introduce you to all the best places and help you navigate the language barrier as you eat, drink and chat to the friendly locals. On this tour you'll enjoy a drink of your choice and a plate of local food at three different styles of izakaya. Discover new favourites and learn to order like a pro!**On Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays, izakaya tends to be very crowded, so you will visit two instead of three during the tour. You will still enjoy a total of three drinks and the volume/quality of food will be the same.
