Kouri Island, located in Nakijin Village in the north of the main island, is an inhabited island with a diameter of about 2 km and a circumference of about 8 km, and is a spectacular spot where you can see one of the most beautiful seas on the main island. The Kouri Bridge, built over the emerald green sea, is free to use. It is 1,960 m long and connects the main island and Kouri Island. Kouri Island is also known as the "Love Island" and is a popular island for couples. The heart-shaped "Heart Rock" on the north side of the island is also a popular spot.
