This is Yatsugatake Energy Farm. Our home-grown shiitake mushrooms are fragrant, plump, and juicy. Even people who don't like shiitake mushrooms might like them! They're also recommended as souvenirs. (^^) Cute shiitake mushrooms growing in a light-blocking greenhouse... The back side of the shiitake mushrooms, which you don't often see, is a mysterious space. Although the harvest volume is reduced by the laborious hand-picking of buds (thinning), the craftsmanship is ingenious to produce strawberries with a richer flavor than anything you have ever tasted before. Please enjoy this experience that can only be experienced in Karuizawa to your heart's content. All strawberry greenhouses are clean, raised cultivation, making picking easy. It is located in Firefly Village, surrounded by the majestic Mt. Asama, about a 10-minute drive from Nakakaruizawa Station. *The price includes the picking experience course (1,500 yen) + admission fee (facility maintenance cooperation fee 500 yen). *This plan is not an all-you-can-eat course, so you cannot eat the strawberries in the greenhouse.
