The Usui Pass was once said to be the most difficult part of the Nakasendo. In this tour, we will aim at the viewing platform from the former Karuizawa Ginza through the promenade of Usui Pass. There is a promenade on the road that goes through the cottage of the grove, and you can reach the viewing platform in about 1.5 hours. From the observatory, you can enjoy a magnificent view of Mount Asama and Mt. Myogi. As this is a handy hiking course, people of all ages can participate. You can freely disperse on the viewing platform, so you can stop at the Kumano Emperor Shrine or take a break at the pass's teahouse. On the way back, you can either return the way you came or take a bus back to the old Karuizawa. Itinerary: Former Karuizawa Ginza ⇒ (Usui Pass Promenade) ⇒ Viewing platform (disbanded on site) * On the way back, either return to the way out or take a bus to the old Karuizawa. ★ New Corona Virus Measures: The tour will be a private tour for one group. The guide in charge will also carry out the temperature measurement before the tour, and we will take measures at a distance that is conscious of social distance as much as possible.
