■Competition Overview Japan's only SUP Ekiden "The 7th Lake Biwa Water Trail SUP Ekiden" is a race course on the scenic Takashima Water Trail. Since it's a team competition, it's sure to create a sense of community and lead to a heated race! Organizer: Takashima Outdoor Promotion Council Contact information: Takashima Outdoor Promotion Council Secretariat (Lake Biwa Takashima Tourism Association TEL: 0740-33-7101) Supported by: (Public corporation) Biwako Visitors Bureau, Takashima City, (Public corporation) Biwako Takashima Tourism Association ■Race content ・One team consists of 4 people (3 people are acceptable), and competes for the finish line while changing players at designated relay points.・Any number of boards can be used, from 1 to 4 boats, as long as they are of the same class.・One team can have up to 3 participants, but rowing consecutively is prohibited.・There will be no transportation to and from the relay point, so please make your own way. ■Total course distance: Approximately 20km 1st row Omi Shirahama → Shiga Prefecture Biwako Kodomo no Kuni / Approximately 5km 2nd row Shiga Prefecture Biwako Kodomo no Kuni → Omi Shirahama / Approximately 5km 3rd row Omi Shirahama → Shirahige Beach / Approximately 5km 4 Rows Shirahige Beach → Omi Shirahama / Approx. 5km Class (Board standard) Inflatable class (Inflatable type with board length of 14ft or less) Entry fee: 28,000 yen per team (tax included) (Breakdown: entry fee, insurance premium, Parking lot fee "Blue Green Time" meal ticket 800 yen) Option: SUP rental (1 day) / piece 8,800 yen (tax included) * 1 team SUP 1 boat can also participate * Activity Japan points for participating in this competition・Coupons cannot be used*
