From the largest lake in Kushiro Wetland, go through the Akinawa River, a tributary of the Kushiro River, from Toroji Lake to the Kushiro River. Leave yourself in a slow flow, to the heart of the Kushiro Wetland. Why do not you experience birds singing and whispering of the wind in the middle of nature? Sometimes Ezoshima and Red crown may show us your face. Come and join us! The area around Toroji is a natural rich area even in Kushiro Marsh. The Salvo Observatory, about 1 km from Toroji Station, has panoramic view of Lake Toruji and other lakes and squares, and at the entrance of Kotaro Marsh, there is a Nihonmatsu Observation Area where you can see the Kushiro River and Kushiro Wetland and the Kushiro city area. In addition, there are plenty of places of interest such as Kotaro Marshland Observation Deck. Why do not you take a short walk on foot or by bicycle by all means. Anyway, it is best to look slowly and feel the five senses slowly as time permits.

A course that flows through the Kushiro Wetlands, starting from Lake Toro on a wide and calm river, you can enjoy a leisurely canoe ride down to Hosooka Station while feeling the breeze blowing through the wetlands. Basically, you won't get wet, so it's okay if you come in clothes that are suitable for the climate and easy to move in. For those who are short on time, we recommend the short course from Hosooka Station to Iwahogi Water Gate. *This is a standard course.

Masa-san was our tour guide. He was a little conversant in English and we tried to speak a little Japanese with him. The whole experience went smoothly and the river and wildlife was a beautiful experience. I would recommend going with this company.

This is a trek that goes all around the Shiretoko Five Lakes designated as a special reserve of Shiretoko National Park, UNESCO's World Natural Heritage Area, including elevated wooden paths. This is Japan's first revolutionary Forest Adventure experience in which a licensed leader guides the area where brown bears live. In addition to the lake, you can observe seasonally changing nature, such as sika deer, red fox, wild birds, alpine plants, and autumn leaves. Because they are not fed, all creatures they encounter are real wildlife. Please contact us as it may be possible to respond to times that are not in the selection column.

In addition to observing the starry sky with the naked eye, astronomical observations using a Newton-type reflective telescope with a focal length of 800 mm and a diameter of 200 mm are also performed. What you see, such as stars, moons, and comets will change depending on the conditions of the day. If the weather is good, shooting stars can be seen frequently. Even if you are empty-handed, you can participate with your camera and your own telescope!

You can experience silent Shiretoko here even in the crowds of summer vacation and autumn consecutive holidays. It is a course to go through the pioneering site and the forest and go to see the groundwater falls pouring into the Sea of Okhotsk. If it is fine, you can see the 200 m high cliff walls leading to Shiretoko Cape. It is a course that goes to see the falls of the cliffs like "Falls Falls", but there is no boardwalk, and overcoming logs, it is a somewhat wild place.

Summer in Hokkaido is something that everyone wants to visit at least once. We will guide you through "Okhotsk", which is rich in nature even in Hokkaido, for a leisurely day. The theme of the Shiretoko area is "to fully enjoy nature". In the morning, a guided walk around the Shiretoko Goko Lakes takes you through the representative fields of Shiretoko. We will pick you up at a restaurant in Utoro for lunch. The remaining half day is trekking in the primeval forest. We will take you to a place with a superb view of cliffs and waterfalls by walking along the animal trail. You can immerse yourself in the charm of the world natural heritage Shiretoko through encounters with wild animals and dynamic scenery. *If the Shiretoko Five Lakes are closed due to brown bear appearances, snowfall, etc., there may be cases where the morning and afternoon tours are replaced, another course is offered, and the tour ends in half a day (in that case, a refund will be given). Please forgive me in advance. ◆This facility is registered as a nationwide travel support store that handles regional coupons. "Regional Coupons" can only be used for local payments.
Kanako san was knowledgeable about the area and shared a lot of information. There was slight rain and she had equipment for rent. Bears are more active this period so a guide is needed for the five lakes. She was experienced about bears and I felt safe with her as the guide.

You can enjoy the variety of Tokachi, from forest roads to roads that run alongside fields, to roads along rivers. Take photos and have tea time while your guide guides you around. Best of all, it's a bicycle tour that you're used to riding on a regular basis, so it's also recommended for those who don't like exercise or those who have been working at a desk lately and want to get some exercise. Of course, those who want to cycle through Tokachi are also welcome! !

Take a relaxing two-seater kayak down the Tokachi River, a large river that flows slowly for about 6 km. You are in charge of rowing yourself! The guide will support you in a separate kayak. Let's go on a river trip together ^^ If you're lucky, you might encounter rare wild birds such as the red-crowned crane or the white-tailed eagle, or even observe the willow tree, which has a very small habitat in Japan! We also recommend looking out over the majestic Hidaka Mountains from the river for a beautiful view. On the way, in Nakasu, you can collect obsidian (Tokachi stone) that can only be found here and take it home as a souvenir! ! It looks like a stone on the riverbank, but inside it's actually beautiful black glass. You'll feel like you're looking for a little gem. It's on until November! *In November, only morning tours are available. *During busy periods such as July and August, the tour may start at 10:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. In that case, we will contact you by email or phone the day before.

Shiretoko Goko is a tourist destination that represents Shiretoko. The five lakes scattered in the primeval forest show different expressions depending on the weather and season. On a calm day, you can see the beautiful scenery of the Shiretoko mountain range reflected on the rugged lake surface. Walk while talking about the trees in the forest and looking for traces of animals. * From 5/10 to 7/31, as brown bears are actively active, you can go around Shiretoko Five Lakes only if you accompany an accredited guide with brown bear countermeasures The walk may be canceled or changed.) * The start time may differ by about 30 minutes before and after 8:30 and 13:30.

If it's clear, we'll head to a scenic spot where you can see all the way to Cape Shiretoko, the tip of the Shiretoko Peninsula. The walk is not a promenade, but an exciting course that follows an animal trail. Along the way, there is a place where you can see a waterfall cascading from a cliff over 100m high, allowing you to enjoy the dynamic scenery of Shiretoko. The forest, home to wild animals such as brown bears, Ezo deer, and black woodpeckers, and the spectacular view overlooking the Sea of Okhotsk, where drift ice comes in winter, are recommended for those who want to experience the World Heritage Site of Shiretoko. It's a forest walk that will make you feel the great nature of Shiretoko and make you want to take a deep breath.

I will explore a 1 km one-way walk from Shiretoko Nature Center to the coastline. Walking through the secondary forest affected by the exploitation, you can see the majestic Shiretoko mountain from the natural grasslands, and from the observation deck you can see the Flepe waterfall flowing down from the cliff. Wild birds that can be observed for each environment, such as forested wild birds such as yellowfish, grassland birds such as white-faced red wild birds, sea birds such as sea bass, are different during walks. It is a short boardwalk, but the characteristic of Shiretoko is a promising walkway.
