[Showa Shinzan] Erupted in 1943. Records of its eruptions from start to finish remain, making it one of the newest volcanoes of the 20th century, still active. It experienced active volcanic activity from 1943 to 1945, and fumarolic activity can still be seen today. It is 398m above sea level and is a nationally designated Special Natural Monument. Regarding the Noboribetsu Toyako Day Tour, we have received notice that the Kitahiroshima Mitsui Outlet Park facilities included in the tour will have reduced business hours on December 31st and will be temporarily closed from January 26th to January 27th. As a result, sightseeing at Kitahiroshima Mitsui Outlet Park will be canceled on these three days. Instead, we will be adjusting the itinerary as follows, extending the time spent at each of the four main tourist spots by 20 minutes. The revised itinerary is as follows: Toyako Sairo Observatory (25 minutes → 45 minutes), Toyako Onsen Town (70 minutes → 90 minutes), Showa Shinzan Bear Ranch (40 minutes → 60 minutes), Noboribetsu Jigokudani (35 minutes → 55 minutes).
