This is the annual New Year's tea party of Tsubozuki Enshu Zen Tea Ceremony. The event will be held at the Jiro Obutsu Memorial Hall, located in the scenic Port View Hill Park. It doesn't matter what style of manners you follow. Anyone can participate. It's okay even if you have no experience or don't understand the etiquette. Please come dressed in comfortable clothes, even if you are not wearing a kimono. We will teach you how to drink tea from scratch. While strolling around Motomachi, Chinatown, Yamate, and Yokohama, why not refresh your thoughts on the new year by drinking matcha?

The event will be held at Flow-an (Ikusaku Watanabe), a mobile artistic tea room that is illuminated. Our style of tea ceremony is a tea ceremony performed by samurai families, and incorporates movements that are connected to the martial arts of samurai.
