Tsuka, Haebaru Town A monument honoring a great man who was passionate about humanity's dream of "flying in the sky" and continued to chase dreams and romance. It is located on a hill overlooking the town and offers a spectacular view. ④ Teruya, Haebaru Town A stone lion standing to ward off evil spirits. There are many theories, including that it was built to protect the precious spring water. The way he looks straight ahead is brave. ⑤ Haebaru Town Motobu A town where Ryukyu kasuri is produced. Inside the museum, clothing, ties, bags, and pouches made using Ryukyu Kasuri, all handmade by craftsmen, are on display and for sale. ⑥ Head to a small elevated forest called Kyan-Koganemori. At that time, during the Battle of Okinawa, the Okinawa Army Hospital Bunker Group was built here. Students also come to study peace. From the top of the small hill, you can see the cityscape of Naha and Haebaru spreading out below. An area where many vegetables such as pumpkin fields are grown.
