Gurutto Aso Chari Meguri, commonly known as “Guru Chari”, is a cycling activity that allows you to enjoy the delicious food and fun places of Takamori Town, Aso County, along with nature. You can go uphill easily with an electric bicycle! For a fee of 2,800 yen, you can rent a motor-assisted bicycle and a helmet, as well as 10 tickets that can be used at stores in Takamori Town and a complimentary ticket for the Takamori Spring Water Tunnel!

A nature guide registered by the Japan Cycling Guide Association (JCGA) (certified class Trainee-3) will guide you through Tokashiki Island with an electrically power assisted bicycle. Since it is moved by an electrically power assisted bicycle, what is the reason for crossing the mountains of Tokashiki Island? We will guide you through the island while explaining the nature and history of the mountains and sea of Tokashiki Island. Along the way, there is a tea time in a scenic spot (hot coffee or hot lemon tea is available here). Tokashiki Island, which is a small island with a total length of 9 km, has a history and culture as well as nature.

Take a local train from Kanazawa city to Tsurugi Station. From there, hop on a bike and cycle through the great outdoors. You can ride safely on bike-only roads. Why not visit Hakusan Hime Shrine from Tsurugi city, enjoy the rural scenery that continues for a while, and cycle slowly through a typical Japanese landscape where time seems to stand still?
