Enjoy a relaxing time with beautiful scenery on an uninhabited island unique to the southern islands! ✳︎What is a phantom island! ? ✳︎A 20-minute boat ride from Ishigaki Island, this uninhabited island with white sandy beaches floats in the emerald blue sea. It is said to be a "phantom island" because it appears and disappears with the tides and changes its appearance every day. ✳︎What is Aragusuku Island (Panali)! ? ✳︎A 50-minute boat ride from Ishigaki Island, this island is the site of a mermaid legend. There are no regular boats, so you can't normally go there except on tours.
