Asahidake and the autumn leaves spreading at the foot of the mountain. The Asahidake Ropeway is the only ropeway in Japan that operates beyond the forest limits. If you take the 10-minute ropeway and get off at Sugatami Station, there is a walking course where you can easily enjoy the scenery and alpine plants even if you do not have physical strength or knowledge of mountain climbing, and we recommend the Sugatami Pond Tour Course.
