南小樽駅から徒歩15分ほどで集合場所に到着。集合場所には看板が置いてあったため、初回参加でも分かりやすかったです。救命胴衣を着込み、いざ乗船！6人も乗り込むとやや手狭くらいの広さですが、後部に小さなデッキがあり、2人ほど立ち上がったままの乗船も可能でした。 クルーズは「インディ・ジョーンズのテーマ」とともに開幕！BGMは逐一拘られていたようで、雰囲気が出ていました（笑）フェリー乗り場からオタモイの辺りまで、要所要所を解説のため停泊しつつ進行しました。 残念ながら青の洞窟内部は見て回れませんでしたが、船長の陽気な解説とともに、赤岩周辺の見事な堆積層・断層や崖上に臨むニシン御殿・竜宮城跡、無数に飛び回るイワツバメの巣群や餌を貰いにクルーザーの屋根にとまるウミネコなど、貴重な体験が目白押しでした。 また機会があれば友人を誘って来れたら嬉しいです！楽しい体験をありがとうございました。

冬といいますと、積丹の観光オフシーズンですが、雪の積もった積丹半島も中々見応えありました。滅多に雪が降らない地方から来た自分は山が熊さんの顔に見えたり、大雪に大興奮しました。オフシーズンだから遠慮するのは勿体ない！ ドライバーさんが神対応で素晴らしかったです。ガイドさん並みに地元に詳しく、説明が面白かったです。 本当にありがとうございました。また機会があればお願いしたいです。

The weather was not the greatest but our driver (yumi) was fantastic. She took us to all the sites we requested. She told us so much along the way, by using her Japanese/English translation device. She was extremely helpful with suggestions and guidance. She also provided pictures of what we 'would' have seen, since it was very overcast and foggy on our day. She took many pictures for us as well. We almost decided not to go because of the weather but we are VERY GLAD that we did!
