Lake Aoki and Lake Nakatsuna: Half-day ticket for a three-person adult fishing rowboat, one-day ticket for a three-person fishing rowboat, and a three-person fishing rowboat season pass. Lake Aoki: Half-day ticket for a three-person adult fishing foot turboboat, and one-day ticket for a three-person fishing foot turboboat. Adults must be 12 years of age or older. Two children aged 1-11 must be accompanied by one adult. Lake Aoki is open from sunrise until 4:45 PM (half-day tickets are available until noon). Lake Nakatsuna is open from sunrise until 4:30 PM (half-day passes open at noon). Please inform us of your start time by 5:00 PM the day before. A recreational fishing permit issued by the Lake Aoki Fisheries Association is required. The opening of the winter smelt hole fishing season at Lake Nakatsuna depends on the weather and smelt resources. The season was closed in 2025, 2024, and 2023. The season was opened in 2022, but closed in 2021. This area is a cold region with heavy snowfall. When there is a lot of snow, the snow acts as a barrier and prevents true ice from forming. Although snow and ice form, they cannot support a person's weight. Hole fishing at Lake Nakatsuna is available from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (2026 dates are yet to be determined). We offer a winter smelt hole fishing set with a tempura rental and a winter smelt hole fishing set.
