Come enjoy the beautiful Yamagata scenery that changes with the seasons from the lake with your guide! The guided tour will teach you how to paddle, so even beginners and families with no experience can enjoy the experience safely. We use stable canoes and kayaks that even beginners can easily navigate. Have fun playing energetically and in the hot summer on the cool Yamagata lake. Dogs are welcome! [June to November: held on weekdays] Akashiba Gorge is a scenic spot in Bandai Asahi National Park with a stunning landscape. The area is covered with broadleaf trees such as Japanese maples, maples, and beeches, and is a famous spot for autumn leaves that turn bright red every fall. It is said that the name Akashiba Gorge came from the fact that it was called the "Red Wall of Japan." The Arakawa River, where the gorge is located, looks like a rapid when viewed from National Route 113, but on this tour, you will canoe in a relatively calm area surrounded by granite. The field has a different flow than canoeing on a lake, which makes you feel nervous. After warming up, you will paddle upstream against the flow of the river in the first half. With a break in between, you will canoe down the valley in the second half. The view of Akashiba Gorge from the water with a guide is exceptional. *In 2025, the tour will be held from Monday to Friday. If you would like to take the Akashiba Gorge canoe tour on weekends, please contact us. On weekends, we mainly hold canoe tours around Lake Shirakawa and Mibuchi Valley. The tour will be held even if it rains, but if the river is flowing very fast, the tour may be canceled at the discretion of the local guide. In that case, the fee will be fully refunded. [Weekends only] The upper reaches of Lake Nagai Hyakuaki, a canoe field that feels like a hidden place, even though it is not far from the city. We will guide you on a half-day tour that will lead you into nature both physically and mentally. The meeting place, Nogawa Manabikan, is a 10-minute drive from Nagai City. After checking in and using the restroom, it is another 10-minute drive to the boarding point. As you paddle through the lake surrounded by mountains from the start, multiple waterfalls will bring you the pleasant sound of water and coolness. As you proceed along the waterside that winds left and right while looking at the vibrant broadleaf mountain ranges and rock faces, you will soon arrive at the entrance to Mibuchi Valley. After offering prayers to nature and the gods, you will continue to canoe between the steep granite cliffs, and you will find yourself in a different space that is cut off from the outside world. Mibuchi Valley, where the cool air and silence continue even in midsummer, is a power spot where the dragon god legend remains. You will be enveloped in an emotion that cannot be expressed in words. A mini-adventure tour where you can experience sacred history and culture while enjoying a leisurely canoe ride with a guide! Anyone who has been in a canoe at least once and has average physical strength can participate. Please rest assured that there will be at least two guides accompanying you at all times.

Beautiful and magnificent Nagai Dam (Lake Nagai 100 weeks). As autumn deepens, the lakeside is covered with broad-leaved autumn leaves, and the autumn leaves reflected on the surface of the water have a special taste. I will row a canoe around the lakeside. Those who are new to canoeing are also safe. You can enjoy the canoeing experience safely and securely under the guidance of a canoe association certified instructor. For lunch, please have a pasta lunch using the local farmer restaurant Iide beef.
