Choose your favorite shisa from the many types available and paint it! Mix colors as you like to create your own original shisa♪ This is the only place in Okinawa where you can experience painting shisa in an old house. You can easily finish your "Fuku no Ki Shisa" that can only be made here in about an hour. You can take it home right after the experience! Staff will support you, so both children and adults can enjoy it. Some people use it as a short break or rest on their way to the Churaumi Aquarium or Kouri Island.

A candle making experience where you can make Okinawa's guardian deity, the "Shisa", by kneading it with your own hands. Using special candle wax, you can make shapes like clay, so anyone from small children to adults can enjoy it♪ You can make your favorite expression, write your name, and create a one-of-a-kind Shisa candle that reflects the personality of the person who made it! After it's completed, you can take a Polaroid photo in the dedicated photo booth! Let's take some memories home with you! ~Experience flow~ ① Reception After arriving at the store, please tell the staff your name and the number of people you have booked. A lacquer workshop in Maejima, Naha City, offers a "simple gold lacquer" experience class for tourists and those who want to try gold lacquering even though they don't have much time. This class incorporates traditional gold lacquering techniques, but is a shortened version that anyone can easily enjoy. You can have a unique experience of repairing broken vessels and broken items using the gold lacquering technique and breathing new life into them. "Simple gold lacquer" is perfect for travelers with limited time, and even beginners can participate with confidence. By decorating the broken parts as "scenery", you can create original works full of individuality. However, since the works made in this experience are simplified versions, they cannot be used for eating or drinking, but they are perfect for interior art that can be enjoyed as ornamental or accessory trays. Vessels that you repair yourself and add your own design will become a special one-of-a-kind item, and by displaying them in your home or office, they will become wonderful art pieces that will decorate your space!
