This is a glass fusing experience class. It is an 8-minute walk from Uchinada Station on the Hokuriku Railroad Asanogawa Line from Kanazawa Station. "Studio Seikan" is a facility with a workshop, shop and cafe, where you can visit the manufacturing site of Yamanaka lacquerware, experience woodturning, shop, and enjoy cafe and sweets with lacquerware. This course includes a workshop tour (with explanation) - making a vase - lacquerware experience at the cafe (one drink included). Lacquerware craftsmen work here every day. In this experience, you can observe them up close and learn about lacquerware production. The staff will explain it in an easy-to-understand way. Next, you will make your own original lacquered chopsticks at the place where the craftsmen actually work. Think about the design of the chopsticks and paint them with real lacquer. You can experience authentic lacquer painting. The lacquer craftsmen will teach you carefully, so you can make them yourself until they are completed. You will surely be satisfied. It's fun. At Miyaso Ceramics, there is a stationary archive that has been accumulated in the warehouse for 100 years, along with the technique of making figurines. In this program, such a stationary world will be unveiled for the first time in Japan.
