A wooden carved doll with grooves is sandwiched with fabric using a special spatula to make it look like it is wearing a costume. ＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊While working as a tourist guide in Iwatsuki, the town of dolls, leading walks around the town and hosting events, he became fascinated with doll culture and learned how to make Kimekomi dolls. He conveys doll culture to people of all ages through doll making. We incorporate tea time into the painstaking work and value a friendly atmosphere. Our ancestors were shinobi samurai who started to serve Tokugawa Ieyasu (the first shogun of the Tokugawa Shogunate) in 1582. The clan served the shogunate for 265 years. In 1868, the clan declined the invitation from the Meiji Government and became independent. We are the only lasting shinobi clan in Japan. We invite you to come to our clan dojo where real master practitioner and professional interpreters take charge of all workshops and seminars. This is good for people who want to get a deeper insight into our ninja and samurai cultures . We still handcraft our tools and weapons. Feel free to ask any questions as we have kept our shinobi samurai tradition for over 450 years.Our ancestors trained locals and their servants to be shinobi.(Ninja is a new word used in movies. Shinobi is the word which was commonly used in the feudal times,)The term "shinobi samurai" is not well-known, but you can be one of the few who knows the history and shinobi philosophy and mindsets.
