【Course Outline】The course takes place in Toke region, located in the middle of Chiba peninsula (about 30 minutes from both Tokyo Bay and the Pacific Ocean). This area is the highest elevation in Chiba City and is upstream of three rivers (Kashima River, Murata River, and Konaka River) that flow into the Pacific Ocean, Tokyo Bay, and Tone River.This course takes advantage of this topography to provide a mindful experience of letting the current of the Boso Peninsula's water veins flow through you (surrendering your body and mind to gravity). At some points, we will allow 3 to 5 minutes to get away from the mindset of "I have to do something" and have a time to be in a state of blank amazement (a time to let 1) Breath of sapiens Zen walk (approx 3.6km) along the dragon vein from Showa-no-mori park, the highest natural park in Chiba City and one of the largest in Chiba Prefecture. 2) Yomogi (Mugwort) herb steaming sauna (by Megumi aka Meguru_kenko.pro)3) Omakase sushi with the ingredients (except some fishes) that are produced by the same community (by Shinya aka sushi_sapiens))

We have prepared a special program that is limited to one group per day and allows you to enjoy Shizuoka tea with all five senses. The Higashiyama district, which produces tea that has been designated as a World Agricultural Heritage Site, is one of the highest quality tea producing areas in the prefecture, but in recent years there has been an increase in the number of dilapidated tea plantations in this area. In this plan, you will pick tea in a scenic tea plantation that has been renovated from a ruined tea plantation, and you will enjoy the picked tea with tempura or as a kaiseki meal with seasonal local ingredients. Also, as a fun activity before and after your meal, you can work up a sweat by climbing up to the top of Mt. Awagatake, the symbol of the area, for about 30 minutes. From the mountaintop terrace, you can see the large tea garden below, the Oi River, Suruga Bay, and the Izu Peninsula on the horizon. On clear days from autumn to winter, you can even see Mt. Fuji. After your meal, enjoy a sencha ceremony where you can brew delicious tea yourself using a teapot. Local staff and farmers will give you detailed instructions, so please try it at home! ~Procedure of the experience~ ① Gather at Higashiyama Ippukudokoro (10:00) ② Welcome tea and program information at local Higashiyama tea (about 20 minutes) ③ Tea picking experience at a ruined tea plantation halfway up Mt. Awagatake (about 30 minutes) ④ Walk It takes about 30 minutes to hike to the top of the mountain! ... Awa Shrine, Iwaza ... Take a short break at the finish line on the terrace at the top of Mt. "Arayu Pudding" is a pudding made by boiling it in a hot spring at 98℃. I was born at Yumura Onsen in Shinonsen Town, Hyogo. You can try your hand at making pudding mainly on weekends. Please come and enjoy our freshly made pudding. ~Experience flow~ ① Gathering and reception (5 minutes) ② Explanation (5 minutes) Flow of the day, confirmation of allergies to eggs and milk ③ Experience (35 minutes) After mixing the ingredients well, pour the pudding liquid into a balloon container using a large syringe. I'll pack it up. After that, put the pudding in a hot water bath net and put it in the hot water. While you wait until the Yugaki is finished, we will guide you through the streets of Yumura Onsen, which retains its Showa-era retro feel. You can experience making traditional Japanese food "Onigiri" in Ariake, Tokyo. While the rice is cooking, prepare the ingredients for the rice balls: shrimp tempura, grilled salmon, pickled plums, tuna, and edamame. After sterilizing the rice ball mold and spatula by boiling, make the rice balls. Make 5 pieces while showing the key points on how to hold them. You can enjoy two of the finished rice balls on the spot while looking out at the view of Tokyo Bay. Please take the rest home. You can take home the tools you used, such as molds and spatulas, as souvenirs! We will donate 10% of the money you deposited to organizations such as the Red Cross. You can learn about Japanese soul food in a fun and delicious way, and make a donation in hopes of world peace.
