A swordsmith will teach you the techniques of Japanese sword making and spend a whole day making a short sword with a blade length of less than 30 cm. During the experience, charcoal cutting, tamaheshi, tsutsubokashi, forging, unbending, fire making, soil placement, quenching, and blacksmith sharpening will be performed. The sword will then be registered and sharpened at a later date, and will be shipped to your home along with a registration certificate. If you select an option, you can also choose a Japanese sword such as a wakizashi (large) (small), katana, or tachi. Experience making your own kaleidoscope at the Zenkoji Temple lodgings! Create your own object with a simple kit! Choose your favorite kaleidoscope and fill it with your favorite ingredients to complete it. You can use natural stones or flowers from Shinshu as ingredients. If you fill it with oil and keep the flower shape as it is like a herbarium, you can make a herbarium kaleidoscope, or you can make a higher-grade kaleidoscope with the gentle colors and light of natural stones. Galerie Ren is located inside Hakurenbo, the lodgings of Zenkoji Temple. Create fun memories with this hands-on experience while visiting Zenkoji Temple.

I make a lamp shade by making a string of hands. Once you make the shape, I will dry it slightly and cut it to your favorite design. The light leaks from the hollowed out portion. It is a bit busy as we make and cut at the same time but it can be enjoyed enough.
