The Paragliding experience held at Miho no Matsubara is equipped with an engine, so you can freely climb and descend. The Deluxe Plan takes off from 0 feet above sea level and offers a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji floating in the ocean from an altitude of 1500 feet more. West Coast Brewing (WCB) is a local craft beer brewery in Mochimune Fishing Port, Shizuoka City. While cruising Suruga Bay towards Mt. Fuji on the Suruga Bay Ferry, you can enjoy WCB beer while enjoying the sunset, starry sky and night view. The beer offered will be two types of beer: WCB's flagship "Starwatcher (West Coast IPA)" and the new "Hazy IPA". (The brands offered are subject to change.) The Casual Plan (regular guest room) comes with an exchange ticket for one beer, and the Ocean Room Plan (special room) comes with an exchange ticket for two beers. We have prepared a special program that is limited to one group per day and allows you to enjoy Shizuoka tea with all five senses. The Higashiyama district, which produces tea that has been designated as a World Agricultural Heritage Site, is one of the highest quality tea producing areas in the prefecture, but in recent years there has been an increase in the number of dilapidated tea plantations in this area. In this plan, you will pick tea in a scenic tea plantation that has been renovated from a ruined tea plantation, and you will enjoy the picked tea with tempura or as a kaiseki meal with seasonal local ingredients. Also, as a fun activity before and after your meal, you can work up a sweat by climbing up to the top of Mt. Awagatake, the symbol of the area, for about 30 minutes. From the mountaintop terrace, you can see the large tea garden below, the Oi River, Suruga Bay, and the Izu Peninsula on the horizon. On clear days from autumn to winter, you can even see Mt. Fuji. After your meal, enjoy a sencha ceremony where you can brew delicious tea yourself using a teapot.
