In Toba City, in Ise-Shima National Park, where the largest number of ama in Japan live, the fishing and lifestyle culture of the oldest Japanese woman [Ama (a woman who catches shellfish etc.)] with a history of more than 2000 years. , It is a one-day program where you can know the faith. First, we will hike Aominesan to the temple on the summit where ama pray for maritime safety, have a special lunch at the ama hut where you can meet active ama, and in the afternoon you will see a demonstration of ama fishing on Mikimoto Pearl Island. The entire journey includes transportation to and from Toba Station (or your hotel in Toba City) and an English guide.

After hiking in the beautiful forest, there is a majestic temple that you can't think of as a mountaintop. You can refresh yourself while feeling the local culture by hiking for about 3 hours. (Approximately 8.5 km) * For those who are physically uneasy about climbing mountains, you can change to walking around Osatsu, the town where many ama in Japan live.
As a guide by local residents, we will also introduce local culture and customs. Due to the countryside, transportation other than cars is scarce, but you can participate with peace of mind with transportation to and from the station or hotel.
