Mt. Motchomu is not so high, but it is a tough mountain trail with steep slopes and some parts where you can use your arms. Climb shortly after a break and use the rope for the last 30 minutes. In particular, climbing with the last rope requires not only nerves but also upper body strength. It is a round-trip course of about 7 hours. Noboru Yamaguchi entrance is located on the waterfall of Chihiro, from prefectural road to the waterfall of Chihiro takes about 1 hour and walk. Crossing the swamp, the rapid climb continues without a break. While watching Mandai Sugi (3,000 Year old), Motchomu Taro and a large tree of Sugi, climb the harsh mountain trail where the roots and stones of the tree overlap intricately, and you will reach the Kamiyama Observatory.
