Yamatomura Kuniyoshi Village is a 30-minute drive from Nami, Amami City. A small island (village) where 50 households and 120 people live. It is a hidden settlement that was once called "hidari jima" (a remote settlement away from the main road), and it is impossible to see it without leaving the prefectural road and entering the settlement.
