With the theme of reproducing the sea of Izu, the Shimoda Underwater Aquarium is home to 10,000 creatures of 50 species, including fish, invertebrates, and seaweed. Influenced by both the Oyashio Current and the Kuroshio Current, the deep sea is also close, and you can scuba dive in a 600 cubic meter water tank that reproduces the rich sea of Izu where a wide variety of creatures live. Because it is a trial diving, no diving license is required! Inexperienced person is welcome. All you need is a swimsuit and a towel. Any healthy person between the ages of 10 and 64 can participate. After changing into a wetsuit, you will receive a brief lecture on diving from the instructor, and finally enter the large tank! In the water, a professional instructor will accompany you and take care of you, so even those who are uneasy can rest assured. In addition, you can see the experience diving from the outside of the glass-enclosed water tank, so you can take two shots with your family and friends while diving! This program is also recommended for families with children! *This plan does not include the Shimoda Aquarium admission ticket. For a plan with an admission ticket, please apply for a different plan from our "plan list". *The required time may vary slightly depending on the course you apply for and the number of people, but the time in the pool (about 30 minutes) is the same for all plans. No matter which course you apply for, the content is the same. *For safety reasons, only 4 people, including the instructor, can be in the pool at one time. This plan allows you to swim with the dolphins in the Interaction Sea. This snorkeling program involves donning a wetsuit, underwater mask, snorkel, and fins and swimming with the dolphins in a wide cove. Friendly dolphins will approach you, while curious dolphins will circle around you and even peer directly at you! Observe and interact with these curious dolphins. Enjoy a relaxing time with these unique dolphins. A dedicated trainer will be on hand to assist you, so you can enjoy interacting with them with peace of mind. *The 10:30 AM meeting is a beginner's course, while the 2:30 PM meeting is for experienced swimmers. Both courses are for those who are comfortable with water more than 100 meters deep (approximately 5 meters deep). For the beginner's course, you will practice using equipment and swimming in shallow water before embarking on a swim. Experienced swimmers are also welcome to participate. We also recommend the beginner's course for experienced swimmers who are worried about their swimming skills or who have not swum in a while.

It is a program where you can observe dolphins and interact with dolphins while wearing a wetsuit and floating in a cove with a depth of 5 to 6 meters! The sight of dolphins swimming around in the sea, not in the tank, is a masterpiece! A dedicated trainer will support you, so you can enjoy interacting with peace of mind ♪ Wetsuits, marine boots, and life jackets (for children only) are available. *Those who are not afraid to wear a wet suit and are not afraid of water depths where their feet cannot stand are eligible. *Participation is possible from the first grade of elementary school, but we recommend that parents participate in the participation of children in the lower grades.
