This two-day, one-night program will help you attain spiritual enrichment and a healthy body through a mind-body experience at Jionji Temple, Tohoku's leading prayer temple. Hayama, once home to three temples and 48 monks, was once counted among the Dewa Sanzan mountains. Jionji Temple, a nationally designated historic site boasting a history of approximately 1,300 years, is a leading prayer temple in Tohoku. This two-day program will help you attain spiritual enrichment and a healthy body through a mind-body experience. The spiritual cultural experience will include a dialogue with the temple's chief priest, a viewing of the Jionji Bugaku dance, a nationally designated Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property, and a trek through Hayama, a former Shugendo sect. The meals served during the program will be a modern version of healthy vegetarian cuisine based on traditional Jionji temple recipes. Upon completing this special program at the historic Hayama Jionji Temple, nestled amidst majestic nature, you will experience a unique sense of spiritual enrichment and health. Sweet "peaches" are made by taking advantage of the Tohoku climate, where nights are cool even in summer. 3rd in production! Grape cultivation in Yamagata began in the early Edo period! Delaware in particular is the largest producing area in Japan. ■Cherry Land Sagae The largest tourist product center in the prefecture where you can get souvenirs from all over the prefecture! At the Sakuranbo Kaikan on the same premises, gelato made with local fruits such as cherries and specialty products is very popular! ■Ginzan Onsen Ginzan Onsen is said to be the model for a popular Japanese anime! The nostalgic and beautiful townscape is beautiful no matter where you look, and there are plenty of photo spots. The hot spring town is filled with cafes, places to eat, and souvenir shops, so you can have a great time. If you get tired of walking, you can take a break on the free platforms along the Ginzan River. The hot spring water is sourced from the same source as the other inns, so it's extremely effective! When you visit, be sure to bring a towel or handkerchief to wipe your feet.
