The instructor, a nationally certified guide-interpreter, will teach you how to make sushi rice, cut tuna, grate wasabi, and make three types of sushi (nigiri, rolled, and gunkan) at his home (a tower apartment directly connected to Higashi-Ikebukuro Station), and have you actually make them. After that, you will eat the sushi you made with the miso soup made by the instructor. It is also used in front of the charcoal in winter during tea ceremonies. Nerika is not something to be used at room temperature, but rather to be warmed to enjoy its aroma. We placed lit charcoal in an incense burner filled with ashes, placed incense sticks on top of the warmed ashes, and enjoyed the scent that wafted through the air.
