Nicknamed "Tori-san" (Tori-san) for his skill at imitating the sound of a rooster, Okamura has pioneered Warabiza musicals, supporting numerous productions since starring in the theater's first musical, "Oga no Onimaru." He is currently active in television commercials, narration, and dramas. He recently appeared in the NHK historical drama "Berabou." Born in November 1950, three months before the founding of Warabiza, he has grown older alongside the theater.
