2-theater common ticket [Korakukan + Kosaka Mine Office] This is a great value ticket that includes a play and backstage tour at Korakukan, a national important cultural property, and a tour of the Kosaka Mine Office and two facilities. In 1910, the Meiji era theater "Korakukan" was built as a welfare facility for the employees of the Kosaka Mine. The exterior of the building is Western-style, while the inside is purely Japanese. The most distinctive feature of this theater is its blend of Japanese and Western styles, which is rare for a theater. Staff dressed in black costumes will guide you through the Korakukan facility. Enjoy an eye-opening look behind the scenes of a truly living playhouse! Kosaka Town in Akita Prefecture is a town that prospered through mining. The Meiji-era playhouse "Korakukan" was built in 1910 as a welfare facility for Kosaka Mine employees. The exterior of the building is Western-style, while the inside is purely Japanese. "Kakunodate's Fire-Sweeping Kamakura" is a fantastical festival where magnificent rings of fire dance in the snow.
