This is a small, shallow, and clean river about 2km upstream from Akiya Coast. Due to the exposed rock formations and slippery conditions, marine shoes are a must. (Rock boots are available for free rental from autumn to spring.) Wearing a swimsuit and water shoes, we will travel upstream for approximately 1.5 hours, listening to a lecture about the creatures. We will search for mountain crabs and mitten crabs in the rocky river, focusing on stag beetles, long-legged shrimp, and dragonfly larvae.
