It is a 2km walk to see the rare waterfall "Furepe Falls" that falls directly into the sea through the gaps of the cliffs. It is a place where you can see the Shiretoko mountain range beautifully if it is sunny. You can also observe how the site of the settlement is being restored to the forest by the Shiretoko 100m2 movement. It is a place where you can often see sika deer and wild birds.

Approximately 700 white-tailed eagles and Steller's sea eagles come here only during the drift ice season, and you have a high chance of seeing them. On the early morning cruise, you can also photograph the sunrise from Kunashir Island. It's a 2.5-hour cruise with plenty of time for photos. There are two departures a day, one early in the morning and one at 8:30. Departs at 5:30 (Operates only from 2/3-3/7) Departs at 8:30 (Operates from 1/27-3/10) *There is no fixed departure time for early morning flights. In addition to observing the starry sky with the naked eye, astronomical observations using a Newton-type reflective telescope with a focal length of 800 mm and a diameter of 200 mm are also performed. What you see, such as stars, moons, and comets will change depending on the conditions of the day. If the weather is good, shooting stars can be seen frequently. Even if you are empty-handed, you can participate with your camera and your own telescope!

You can experience silent Shiretoko here even in the crowds of summer vacation and autumn consecutive holidays. It is a course to go through the pioneering site and the forest and go to see the groundwater falls pouring into the Sea of Okhotsk. If it is fine, you can see the 200 m high cliff walls leading to Shiretoko Cape. It is a course that goes to see the falls of the cliffs like "Falls Falls", but there is no boardwalk, and overcoming logs, it is a somewhat wild place.

I thought it was a light tracking experience, but I had an interesting time while tracking and listening to the guide's professional explanation of plants and brown bears in Shiretoko National Park. Thank you for explaining in Japanese and English once in a while for foreigners who can't speak Japanese and for taking care not to lose interest. I think I'm lucky to meet Okhotsk Jinendo guide company and Kanako guide through Activity Japan. If I visit Shiretoko, I will apply for another fun experience. I had a great time today.

It is a place where you can see the Shiretoko mountain range beautifully if it is sunny. You can also observe how the site of the settlement is being restored to the forest by the Shiretoko 100m2 movement. It is a place where you can often see sika deer and wild birds.
