In this pottery atelier, a renovated 120-year-old townhouse located in the quiet streets of Tanimachi Rokuchome, Osaka, you can enjoy a full-fledged pottery experience using hand-building or an electric potter's wheel. The host, who is a potter, will carefully guide you, so even beginners can participate with confidence. The experience lasts about 2 hours. It is a private experience with a small group of up to 4 people, so you can concentrate on creating your own work in a calm space. The clay used is from Shigaraki, Shiga. You can freely create teacups, small bowls, mugs, etc. The atelier is located a short walk from Tanimachi Rokuchome Station on the Osaka Metro, near Karahori Shopping Street, making it an easy location to stop by in between sightseeing.
