At Yokoyama Bamboo Store, established in Kyoto, who sells products using bamboo and constructs bamboo for building, you can experience traditional craft making using bamboo. In this plan, you will make your favorite "bamboo basket" out of 3 types.

Choose your favorite from 3 types

There are three types of bamboo baskets that you can experience making. "Shikainami Flower Basket": If you drop the bamboo tube, you can use it as a flower basket, and if you lay Japanese paper on the bottom, you can use it as an accessory case. It can be used for many purposes. "Yorozu basket": In addition to a basket with flowers, it is also fashionable to put tempura on the table. "Shrimp basket": diameter 13 cm, opening 9 cm. It can be used for various purposes such as accessory cases.

Great for Kyoto-like souvenirs

You can finish the work in about 2 hours and take it home that day. The work I made has a unique handmade taste that is not found in ready-made products. Please leave a wonderful memorial as a memory of sightseeing in Kyoto.
