Enjoy the popular SUP experience on the Toyohira River that flows through Sapporo! Enjoy the scenery while standing or sitting on a board in the field of the valley next to Jozankei Onsen. The average depth of the river is about 1 meter and the current is gentle, so there is no need to worry if you fall into the water. Some people dive by themselves when they get used to it. Children can participate because it is shallow. This plan is also OK for “Dog-chan SUP” to participate with your dog! It is also recommended to wear a life jacket (bring your own or rent one) and have a good time with your dog♪

Midwinter Water temperature: December 7-10°C January-February 0-4°C December-February Plankton in the water also decreases, transparency increases, and the water becomes even more tranquil. Visibility increases to the point where you can see 30 meters ahead. The sunlight shining in warmly illuminates the water, which is at 2°C. The Hyoto Ice Museum Festival, one of Hokkaido's three major winter festivals, is held from late January to mid-February. As the lake water is highly transparent, the ice sculptures shine blue like Lake Shikotsu during the day, and at night, the lake is lit up and fireworks are set off, making it a sight to behold.
