Although it is a physically demanding job, the swordsmith will be happy to assist you, so don't worry if you are not confident in doing the heavy lifting, such as children or women. You can take photos and videos while working! The trial fee is for one Japanese knife. You can also make one book for two or more people. A swordsmith will teach you the techniques of Japanese sword making and spend a whole day making a short sword with a blade length of less than 30 cm. During the experience, charcoal cutting, tamaheshi, tsutsubokashi, forging, unbending, fire making, soil placement, quenching, and blacksmith sharpening will be performed. The sword will then be registered and sharpened at a later date, and will be shipped to your home along with a registration certificate. If you select an option, you can also choose a Japanese sword such as a wakizashi (large) (small), katana, or tachi. Registration, packaging, and shipping fees are all included in the price. *Due to the Firearms and Swords Possession Control Act, the swordsmith will engrave the swordsmith's name on the sword. It is possible to engrave the participant's name as well. You will spend a whole day making a small scale attached to the Japanese sword. The material is the same as the Japanese sword, and the world's highest grade iron (tamahagane) is used. You can make a soil holder by yourself and insert a blade crest. Attach the blade, cut your name on it, make a scabbard, and sharpen it to complete it. Only at our studio can you experience making a small pattern and sharpening it. You will learn how to make a Japanese sword while working, and you will not know until you experience the work of striking iron to change its shape and create ripples, so I think it will be a great learning experience. We will proceed according to the ability of the person who will experience it, so there is no need to worry about minors and women. Photos and videos can be taken during production!
