This is a public bath culture experience tour for foreigners visiting Japan. We will introduce you to the public bath culture at Oshiage Onsen Daikokuyu located in Oshiage, Sumida Ward. [Iwaizumi Town, Iwate Prefecture] Ryusendo Travel Village Campsite A tent sauna experience at the foot of a mountain surrounded by nature. Experience relaxing with cold water flowing from Ryusendo, one of Japan's three largest limestone caves. Tents are limited to 4 adults per group. (We can accommodate up to 2 groups of 8 people.) You can also experience Löyly, where water is poured onto sauna stones. After the sauna experience, you can use the coin shower for 10 minutes for 100 yen, and you can wash away the sweat before going home. The experience lasts 2 hours. [Totou Sauna at the Foot of the World Heritage Shirakami Mountains] Fujisato Town is a idyllic town at the foot of the Shirakami Mountains. Although it is a small town with a population of less than 3,000, it boasts rich nature and delicious water. Would you like to enjoy a snow tent sauna in this quiet town? At the foot of the Shirakami Mountains, a World Heritage Site, this tent sauna uses the pure white snow that falls as a cold bath. "Yugi" in "Yugi Sauna" means "snow" in Akita dialect. We recommend the snow sauna surrounded by majestic mountains. Restrooms, restaurants, vending machines, and Yutoria hot spring resort facilities are also nearby, so even beginners to the outdoors can easily enjoy the sauna. We also have a special aroma “Totoi water” and a “handmade sauna hat”. "Totoi water" is an aromatic water with a secret scent made from the blessings of the mountains. An outdoor sauna experience with a water bath in the Ota River, a clear stream whose water source is Nachi Primeval Forest, just like Nachi Falls, the best waterfall in Japan. The venue, Daitaiji, is a 1,200-year-old Yakushi sacred place where you can experience zazen and sutra copying. Listen to a staff sermon about the close relationship between Zen and the sauna, and write your wishes on a wooden stick. Throw the gomagi into the wood stove by yourself and make a wish to Jizo-san. A resurrection experience that looks at the state of mind through Zen. 30 seconds from the tent to the river. The shortest class comfort in Kansai! This is a rental sauna made from Shimanto Hinoki cypress. Maximum capacity is 5 people. This is a 2-hour plan. We will transport the sauna in a light truck to the site, so you can enjoy the majestic Shimanto River as a cold bath! There will be a loyly with a wood stove! It will be held even in light rain. We will explain how to use it here, so please enjoy the sauna! [Features] By using a wood stove as a heat source and Shimanto Hinoki offcuts as firewood, the sauna room is filled with the scent of Hinoki cypress. In addition, by using offcuts from woodworking, etc., waste is reduced and this is also connected to efforts toward the SDGs.
