She started athletics in the fourth grade of elementary school, won the 100m hurdles at the Inter-High School Championships three times in a row in high school, and won the 100m and 4x100m relay in her third year, achieving a triple crown. She won the Japan Championships three times in a row from 2008 to 2010, competed at the World Athletics Championships in 2009, and was ranked number one in the junior rankings in the world, but retired in 2013 due to injuries and eating disorders. After entering university and giving birth in 2014, she switched to rugby sevens in 2016 and returned to active competition. She returned to athletics at the end of 2018. The following year, she set a new Japanese record for the first time in 19 years and competed at the World Athletics Championships for the first time in 10 years. In 2021, she broke the Japanese record twice, won the Japan Championships for the first time in 11 years, and competed in the Tokyo Olympics. We will conduct a monitor tour for the purpose of planning and developing a new SDGs-type education program. During the tour, Waseda University students act as tour guides and guide students around the university campus where they usually spend their time, as well as shopping malls lined with restaurants that satisfy students' appetites. In the future, we plan to disseminate this tour both domestically and internationally as an example of students and the local community (shopping association) working on sustainable town development. We would like to ask everyone who participated to provide us with their opinions in order to make the program even better. Please join us and give us your advice to improve the quality of our tours.
