Tennen Rishin-ryu swordsmanship, which began in the Edo period, is still passed down today, and at the Tennen Rishin-ryu Hino Dojo, students of the school hone their swordsmanship skills. You too can learn Tennen Rishin-ryu at an actual dojo. Swordsmen who trained in Tennen Rishin-ryu in Hino formed the Shinsengumi, known as the strongest group of swordsmen at the end of the Edo period, and were called the Last Samurai. In 1868, the clan declined the invitation from the Meiji Government and became independent. We are the only lasting shinobi clan in Japan. We invite you to come to our clan dojo where real master practitioner and professional interpreters take charge of all workshops and seminars. This is good for people who want to get a deeper insight into our ninja and samurai cultures . We still handcraft our tools and weapons.
