You can freely create teacups, small bowls, mugs, etc. The atelier is located a short walk from Tanimachi Rokuchome Station on the Osaka Metro, near Karahori Shopping Street, making it an easy location to stop by in between sightseeing. Why not relax from the fatigue of your trip by touching the clay and spend some time away from your daily life "making things"? The completed work will be carefully delivered to your home at a later date after drying, glazing, and firing (delivery fee varies depending on region). This is a private walking tour around the tourist spots in Osaka city. Start in the morning at Osaka Castle, and have lunch at Shinsekai and go kushikatsu hopping! Take your time to see the main tourist spots in Osaka. In the afternoon, return to the castle town of Osaka Castle, Karabori, and experience hand-making at a pottery atelier renovated from a 120-year-old tenement house. Because it is a private tour, you can walk at your own pace, whether you are a couple, family, or single person. This is a knife sharpening class run by a whetstone manufacturer, located a 5-minute walk from Shotenzaka Station. We will carefully explain everything from the types of whetstones to how to maintain your knives at home! Kintsugi is a repair technique in which cracks, chips, and other damaged parts of ceramics are glued together with lacquer and decorated with gold and other metal powder. It is also called Kintsukuroi. At our salon, we use simple lacquer instead of real lacquer, and we finish at a reasonable price. Tableware that holds a special meaning can be revived by Kintsugi, and upgraded by applying gold. We accept lessons and orders. The experience location is Minoh City, a city rich in nature in Hokusetsu, Osaka. 20 minutes by train from central Osaka Location: 10 minutes walk from Sakurai Station on the Hankyu Minoh Line, or at the Sakurai Station Cafe (At the cafe, we ask that each person order one drink) If a child of junior high school age or younger participates, a parent or guardian must apply and participate with them. We do not allow children to participate alone. If you bring your own, you are limited to three chips per person.
