Near Uchiura Bay. Part of Shikotsu-Toya National Park. A caldera lake. It is almost circular with a diameter of about 10 kilometers, covering an area of 70.72 square kilometers. Circumference 50 kilometers. Maximum depth: 180.0 meters. Average depth is 117.0 meters. Water storage capacity: 8.19 cubic kilometers. The lake surface is 84 meters above sea level. It is the northernmost ice-free lake in Japan. ▼Toya Lake Cero Observatory is a great place to take panoramic photos of Lake Toya. From here you can enjoy natural views around Lake Toya, including the islands of Lake Toya, Mt. Yotei, Mt. Showa Shinzan, and Mt. Usu. Showa Shinzan Bear Ranch: On December 28, 1943, a large earthquake occurred near Mt. Usu on the shores of Lake Toya. As a result, the volcano erupted and the earth rapidly rose to form a tall mountain. Volcanic activity continued until September 10, 1945, and there were 17 relatively active volcanic events in two years. In commemoration of this volcanic activity, a new volcano with an elevation of 398 meters was designated a Special Natural Monument in 1957 and named "Showa Shinzan". It is a "new mountain" that is still growing, and white smoke can be seen constantly spewing from the reddish-brown mountains. ▼ At the bear ranch near the entrance to the Showa Shinzan cable car, about 100 purebred Hokkaido brown bears are kept. Brown bears are the largest wild mammals in Hokkaido. You can feed the brown bears at the bear ranch. When they see food, they stand up and wave at the tourists. They are very cute and adorable. It is said that the horse oil here is very useful. Adults (junior high school students and above) 900 yen, children (6 years old and above) 500 yen, please pay the fee yourself. Canoeing and kayaking are popular waterside activities. And in the Sapporo area, which is blessed with water resources such as the Ishikari River, there are many waterfronts that you can get close to. Nonetheless, it may be difficult to play alone, and it may be difficult to assess the risks of playing in nature. This experience is a kind of boat called "inflatable kayak", and you can enjoy rowing a calm river or flat lake surface with a tool called "paddle" with a board called "blade" on both ends. The hull is designed to be inflated with air, so it has excellent mobility and transportability, and when deflated, it becomes smaller than a tent, making it a compact vehicle that can be easily transported even in a passenger car. Of course, the hull, which is the buoyancy body, has a multi-chamber structure, and even if one buoyancy cannot be secured, other buoyancy bodies will back it up, so you can enjoy it with peace of mind. In this plan, the maximum number of boats managed by the guide in charge is reduced under the environment of with corona, so you can enjoy the inflatable kayak experience almost privately. Especially recommended for families and small groups. Of course, we will give you a thorough lecture on how to maneuver the boat at the beginning, so please do not worry. Surrounded by nature, the area around the Chitose River is in harmony with nature, with red-crowned cranes inhabiting the reservoir, making it the perfect place for convenience and refreshment!! The chirping of birds, the presence of great egrets and gray herons, the movement of carp and crucian carp hiding in the roots of reeds, and the shoals of salmon that come upstream in the autumn will surely arouse your interest. During warmer months, it might be fun to look underwater with water glasses. After the experience, please relax in Naganuma Town, which is the departure and arrival base. There are many attractive foods in the town, such as delicious farm restaurants, traditional Genghis Khan, soft serve ice cream with plenty of milk. Also, it would be nice to warm up your cold body at "Naganuma Onsen", and a day camp is also recommended. (Please contact us for tent rental)

We will help you choose a kimono that suits you best from our selection and rent it for a day. (From June to September, we will use yukata.) It's nice that you don't have to worry about time. Traditional kimonos go well with the historical and atmospheric city of Otaru, with its gas lamps and music box museum. The kimonos we offer are retro-modern kimonos that go well with the retro townscape of Otaru. They are different in terms of comfort and the luster of the fabric. They will make a wonderful keepsake.

Noboribetsu Jigokudani was named for its hell-like atmosphere. ▼Oyunuma is a crater formed by the eruption of Mt. Hiyori. Sulfur springs at about 130 degrees gush out from the bottom of the pond, and are the source of the main hot spring inns in Noboribetsu City. There is an observation deck here, where you can look at the steaming lake in front of you, or walk to the lakeside to experience it up close. Walking around the lake, you can not only smell the sulfur, but also see the source of the hot springs, which are always smoking and bubbling, and the yellow sulfur balls floating on the lake surface are particularly eye-catching. ▼The outdoor foot bath experience requires walking a long mountain path, which is still relatively primitive, but that is probably to protect the original ecosystem. Even if you are a first-time canoeist, you can go canoeing down the Mimi River. It is a wonderful field that is hard to find even in Japan. The guide will ride in a separate canoe from the customer, and you will be the only one to steer the canoe and leisurely go down through the wetlands where there are many waterfowl. During the tour, you can learn about the history of the Mimi River and the Ainu, and other stories unique to this area, while canoeing and learning from the guide. The field is near New Chitose Airport, and the Mimi River can be seen from the sky when planes take off and land. This is a recommended tour that is perfect for a honeymoon or family trip that you can remember every time you visit Hokkaido in the future. "The tour was fun, but we don't have any photos!!" "We came together, but we don't have any photos of the two of us!!" During the tour, we will give away photos taken with a single-lens reflex camera to anyone who wants them. [Tour Recommendations 1.2.3] ① The river flows slowly, and even at its deepest, it is only about waist-deep for adults, so it is a very shallow river, so you can rest assured. You will not be sharing the canoe. ② There are surprisingly few travel photos! ! Gateway Tours will give you digital photos of your tour! You cannot take photos of yourself in a canoe from inside the canoe. Photos taken in a canoe are memories that will last a lifetime. This service is only available at Gateway Tours! It's worth participating just for the photos. ③You can rest assured that your guide is an outdoor master guide certified by the Hokkaido Prefectural Governor, and also has other guide qualifications, rescue qualifications, and first aid qualifications. *If you are participating with your family or alone, please apply from another plan. https://activityjapan.com/search/?addressAndKeyword=Gateway+Tours

To be honest, it is difficult to find a place to take an activity tour by yourself. Gateway Tours can only accept one person per tour. (This is not a private tour as it is held at the same time as other tours.) It is many times more difficult to operate a Canadian canoe by yourself than it is to operate it with two people. For this reason, you will basically ride in the guide's canoe. The benefits are that you can leisurely go down the river, take photos and videos with your own camera, ask the guide various questions, and listen carefully to the stories of the field. Also, depending on the conditions on the day (mainly the wind direction), you can try a single-seater canoe in a separate boat from the guide. During the tour, you can learn about the history of the Mimi River and the Ainu, and stories unique to this area from the guide, and of course you can canoe while learning. The field is near New Chitose Airport and there is a free shuttle, so many people use it at the beginning or end of their trip, or during their free time on a business trip to Hokkaido. During the tour, we will give you free photos taken with a single-lens reflex camera to those who wish. [Recommended] ① You can participate by one person! ! ②Surprisingly few travel photos!! Gateway Tours will give you digital photos of your tour taken with a single-lens reflex camera!! Canoeing photos are lifelong memories. This service is only available at Gateway Tours! This is a plan limited to Douminwari (Hokkaido residents discount). In this day and age, everything is increasing in price. Hotel rates and activity tours are also increasing in price. It has become difficult for Hokkaido residents to travel to Hokkaido. We hope that customers in Hokkaido will learn about the good things about Hokkaido, so we will offer a price that is easy to participate in (up to 33% discount). (Example) For two adults, the usual price of 15,000 yen is 11,000 yen, a 4,000 yen discount. For two adults and two elementary school students, the usual price of 22,000 yen is 17,000 yen, a 5,000 yen discount. *Please show your identification on the day of the event, or live in Hokkaido. If you live outside of Hokkaido but attend a school or company in Hokkaido, we will apply if you have proof of identity. Even if you are a customer who is canoeing for the first time, you can go down the river right away on the Mimi River. It is a wonderful field that is hard to find even in Japan. Enjoy the popular SUP experience on the Toyohira River that flows through Sapporo! Enjoy the scenery while standing or sitting on a board in the field of the valley next to Jozankei Onsen. The average depth of the river is about 1 meter and the current is gentle, so there is no need to worry if you fall into the water. Some people dive by themselves when they get used to it. Children can participate because it is shallow. This plan is also OK for “Dog-chan SUP” to participate with your dog! Unlike the rapids caused by melting snow, the rafting is relatively gentle, as it takes place near Nishiki Bridge, close to the center of Jozankei Onsen. Therefore, beginners, children, and dogs can enjoy it together (children must be accompanied by an adult). Jump into the river and look for creatures while keeping your eyes on the deep greenery. Because I use my former schoolhouse as an atelier and gallery experience field, it is unrelated to new and useful things, In the garden sheep are eating grass, I think that you can have a calm time in a nostalgic place somewhere nostalgic. Since we also exhibit and sell reliefs and everyday instruments, including objects, please do not miss seeing pottery and relaxing holidays.

It seems that many glass crafts have been passed down from ancient Egypt. Among them, fusing has a finish reminiscent of a mosaic pattern. Glass chips called millefiori are lined up on colorful plate glass. After that, when it is fired in an electric furnace, the glass melts and the colored patterns look like mosaic art. Why not use the finished product to make your own accessories or chopstick rests?
