You can experience calligraphy, a traditional Japanese culture, using real tools. Unlike the calligraphy sets you can buy at shopping malls or schools, we use calligraphy tools procured from traditional calligraphy shops, so it's perfect for those who want to get a taste of the real thing and Japanese culture. This plan is available in Japanese, English, Spanish, and Italian. Most calligraphy experiences take 60 to 90 minutes, but the JanDara calligraphy experience takes 180 minutes. You can communicate well with other calligraphers. Approximately 10 minutes from anywhere from Haneda Airport, Shinagawa, or Yokohama! We will rent Ota Sangyo Plaza PiO, which is a 3-minute walk from the station. This is a spacious 40 tatami Japanese-style room that can accommodate up to 54 people, where you can sit in a sitting position or sit on a horigotatsu (horizontal kotatsu) and do calligraphy with your feet down. If you are not comfortable sitting up straight, you can stretch your legs and participate in a relaxed state. For those who would like to experience the numbness of their legs while sitting seiza like an authentic Japanese person, we will prepare them so that they can experience it sitting seiza. When deciding which characters to write on colored paper, teach them the Japanese meaning. Creating Japanese names together will be a lot of fun! At the end of the experience, you will eat Japanese sweets. You can take the completed work home with you. Not only that, you can scan your work and hand it over as data, so you can post it on SNS, make a record, make an announcement, or create materials. You can also make original T-shirts and mugs in your own country since the data will remain in your possession!

Unlike the calligraphy sets you can buy at shopping malls or schools, we use calligraphy tools procured from traditional calligraphy shops, so it's perfect for those who want to get a taste of the real thing and Japanese culture. This plan will be conducted in Japanese. This is for international students to improve their Japanese and to have more communication with their host families and companions who understand Japanese. (You can bring up to 4 companions with each application for free.) Most calligraphy experiences usually take 60 to 90 minutes, but the JanDara calligraphy experience takes 120 minutes. You can enjoy the experience and communicate with Japanese people, not just "written with a brush". We will rent Ota Sangyo Plaza PiO, which is about 10 minutes from Haneda Airport, Shinagawa, and Yokohama, and a 3-minute walk from the station. This is a spacious 40 tatami Japanese-style room that can accommodate up to 54 people, where you can sit in a sitting position or sit on a horigotatsu (horizontal kotatsu) and do calligraphy with your feet down. It is quite difficult to enjoy this atmosphere at home or school. When deciding on the characters to write on the colored paper, it's a great way to make a Japanese name together while teaching the meaning of the Japanese word! At the end of the experience, you will eat Japanese sweets. You can take the completed work home with you. Not only that, you can scan your work and hand it over as data, so you can post it on SNS, make a record, make an announcement, or create materials. Neriko is a black pill-shaped incense that was widely used during the Heian period. In The Tale of Genji, there is a scene in which Hikaru Genji, Murasaki no Ue, and other characters are actually created and evaluated, and it is still known as one of the Six Kinds of Kaorumono. It is also used in front of the charcoal in winter during tea ceremonies. Nerika is not something to be used at room temperature, but rather to be warmed to enjoy its aroma. We placed lit charcoal in an incense burner filled with ashes, placed incense sticks on top of the warmed ashes, and enjoyed the scent that wafted through the air. Enjoy the relaxing time and space as the charcoal warms the ashes, along with the scent. It is also recommended before welcoming guests. We have boxes and bags for you to take home, as well as charcoal and incense burner ash for you to use at home.

Create your own original incense paste using only natural incense ingredients such as powdered sandalwood, dragon brain, and clove! Zuko is a powdered incense that monks apply on their palms as a purifying scent in Buddhism. Among the Japanese scents that are used by transferring the scent to something, it is the only one that can be applied directly to the body. In ancient times, people used to collect the first morning dew that had accumulated on lotus leaves, mix sandalwood with the water, and apply it to their bodies. Unlike liquid scents, it is a powder type, so it has low volatility and does not easily diffuse into the surrounding area, making it a convenient scent that can be used without being noticed by those around you. Recommended for relaxing between work. Also, since you only need to use a small amount and don't apply too much, this item is perfect for those who can't get a strong scent in a place where there are people, but still want to add something. *Some sects, such as Zen Buddhism, do not use incense.

Would you like to experience the charm of Asakusa with a shrine maiden? On this unique tour, a former professional shrine maiden will welcome you as your guide, introducing you to the rich history and culture of Asakusa Shrine while telling you about hidden spots and interesting facts. In addition to experiencing history and culture, this tour also allows you to enjoy the shrine maiden dance experience. Shrine maiden dance is passed down from generation to generation by shrine maidens at the shrine. Shrine maiden dance is often performed at Shinto rituals and Shinto ceremonies, so I think many people have never seen it. Originally, it was said that the gods descended to the shrine maidens who danced the shrine maiden dance and gave them divine guidance. In other words, by dancing the shrine maiden dance, you can become one with the gods and nature. And shrine maiden dance is full of the "feeling of reverence for the gods" and "beautiful etiquette" that the ancient Japanese have always cherished. For both Japanese and foreigners, it will be an opportunity to experience Japan's beautiful culture and learn about the spirituality that the Japanese have cherished.
