Our ancestors were shinobi samurai who started to serve Tokugawa Ieyasu (the first shogun of the Tokugawa Shogunate) in 1582. The clan served the shogunate for 265 years. In 1868, the clan declined the invitation from the Meiji Government and became independent. We are the only lasting shinobi clan in Japan. We invite you to come to our clan dojo where real master practitioner and professional interpreters take charge of all workshops and seminars. This is good for people who want to get a deeper insight into our ninja and samurai cultures . We still handcraft our tools and weapons. Feel free to ask any questions as we have kept our shinobi samurai tradition for over 450 years.Our ancestors trained locals and their servants to be shinobi.(Ninja is a new word used in movies. A certain rural town in Japan, the era is Showa... Enroll for one day at a school nestled in a rural landscape surrounded by nature. A “homeroom teacher” will actually teach the class in the classroom. Participants wear school uniforms and sailor uniforms. It starts with the entrance ceremony, morning homeroom, day shift, calligraphy and history classes, school lunch, sports day, and finally the graduation ceremony where the students receive their diplomas. You will experience a simulated "school life" that Japanese students have experienced. *The “homeroom teacher” will basically conduct the class in English 1. Morning homeroom 2.
