The experience program is led by Masao Inoue, a descendant of Shinsengumi leader Genzaburo Inoue and chairman of the Tennen Rishin-ryu Hino Dojo. Not only can you learn the basics of Tennen Rishin-ryu swordsmanship with a wooden sword, but you can also actually use a Japanese sword, which is said to be the soul of the samurai. The experience of touching the soul of the samurai will surely transform you.
閑静な住宅街の中に新築の一戸建てが道場となっており、チャイムを鳴らす事なくドアを開けて2階へ入るまではここで大丈夫なのかとドキドキしましたが、道場では増渕さんが優しく迎え入れてくれたあと袴の履き方からゴザを丸めた棒の切り方まで親切丁寧に教えていただきながら体験を進めていただいたおかげて、失敗する事なく畳を切ることができて嬉しかったです。 教えて頂いた井上先生、増渕先生もとても優しく、終始楽しく体験させていただきありがとうございました。新撰組関連の演舞などがある際にはまた観に行かせて頂きたいと思います。

3 minutes walk from Skytree and Oshiage Station. Why not try calligraphy in between sightseeing and shopping in Asakusa and Skytree?! This is a private lesson for one group. You can relax and experience Japanese life with your family and friends in a tatami room. First, we will give a brief explanation about calligraphy and tools. Next, you will practice the basic lines of calligraphy on a half-sized piece of paper. After that, you will practice your favorite characters while looking at the model. We have prepared some kanji that are popular with foreigners as models, but if there is a character you want to write, please let the instructor know. Finally, you will create two works using one colored paper and one small colored paper or postcard of your choice. When you finish, take a photo with your work in front of the Hokusai or cherry blossom interior. A souvenir of matcha sweets is included!

色々 丁寧に説明してもらって2時間ぐらいで出来上がったんですけど 1個目のスイッチにショートが入ってて帰ったらスイッチの部分ひねくり回さないと使えなくて残念です。そういう部分以外では楽しかったし、貴重な思い出ができてよかったです。
