"Aroma stones" are interior objects made of plaster and aroma. You can create your own aroma stone by choosing one aroma fragrance and several molds of your choice. When the aroma fades, you can enjoy it again and again by reapplying your favorite scent. Experience flow 1. Explanation of creation: 10 minutes 2. Aroma stone production (takes time to harden): 40 minutes 3. Finishing: 5 minutes 4. Photo shoot: 5 minutes 5. Payment: 5 minutes *Please consult with us if you would like to participate with children under 6 years old *Please bring scissors that small children are familiar with. *Please also bring bandages in case they accidentally cut themselves. ■Please make a reservation for the number of people who will be visiting. "Yaeyama Minsa" is a textile made of cotton, plain weave, and produced in Ishigaki City and Taketomi Town. The biggest feature is that the five and four kasuri patterns embody the idea of ``Forever and ever, until the end of the five (five) worlds (four).'' Yaeyama Minsa-ori goes through many processes to create a single piece of fabric, but just like in the past, many of these processes are done by hand with great care. At the Minsa Crafts Museum, customers can actually experience ``weaving'', one of the processes of Yaeyama Minsa weaving, for themselves. Our instructors will provide direct and detailed guidance, so even beginners can enjoy the experience with confidence.

最終日に利用しました。先生が丁寧に教えてくださり、9歳、11歳の子供も1人で織ることが出来ました。作品の受取は郵送でお願いしたので、帰宅後から、子供達がわくわく待っております。形に残る思い出の物が出来て良かったです。受付から体験まで、とてもスムーズでした。天候の影響もなく、良い体験でした。

織機に触るのははじめてでしたがていねいに教えていただき楽しく体験できました。見学していたわが子が暇そうにあれこれ眺めてスタッフさんに質問した際も、優しく応対していただいており、体験に集中することができました。伝統工芸に職人側の視点で触れることができとても貴重な時間でした。
