This is an experiential tour where you will experience calligraphy, one of Japan's proud artistic cultures, and create two works of art. Each participant will receive a piece of work created by our instructor. Original and not a print. The type to display on your desk comes with a frame as shown in the photo. Larger types are available only in kind. You will practice how to hold a brush, basic vertical lines, horizontal lines, sweeps, dots, etc., and we will create two works of art that you can display in your home. One will be a large piece to hang on the wall, and one will be a small piece to hang on a desk or table. The instructor is a master calligrapher and professional calligrapher certified by the Japan Educational Calligraphy Federation, and the host of the calligraphy class.
