After training in Kyoto, he succeeded his father, Sadazo, as the second-generation owner of Shinjuku Kappo Nakajima in 1980. With the taste and technique he has honed since he was a child, he expresses both traditional and new Japanese cuisine. He is highly regarded in the culinary world. He is active in many areas, including media appearances and writing. ・Aoyagi Misen (Japanese culture experience/calligraphy: November 18th, November 25th) He began learning calligraphy at the age of 4 under the influence of his grandmother. He has performed calligraphy performances in over 10 countries around the world. In Japan, he has written calligraphy for the TV anime "Dororo" based on the original work by Osamu Tezuka, the famous hunting game "Monster Hunter Rise", and other games. In 2020, he performed an opening calligraphy performance in front of approximately 58,000 spectators at the "99th Emperor's Cup Final", which was held as the opening sporting event at the National Stadium.
