Aiming for the highest peak (1413m) in the Yamanakako area. After passing through the torii gate at the entrance to the mountain trail, 403 steps await you, and Ishiwari Shrine, which is enshrined at the 8th station, is said to be the stage of the large rock where Amaterasu Omikami hid in the legend of Ama no Iwato. There is a large crack in this large rock, and it is said that if you can walk around it three times clockwise, you will be blessed with good luck, and there is also a legend that the water that seeps out of the crack can cure skin and eye diseases. Along the way, you can enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Yamanaka from the mountaintop and the large Katsura tree, which is said to be the source of the Katsura River. This is a very satisfying hiking tour where you can fully enjoy history and nature at a power spot in a national park that is home to Mt. Fuji, Japan's proudest mountain!

You can walk through the unique Aokigahara Jukai, where you can see the 1,200-year history of the forest covered with lava from the eruption of Mt. Fuji, and explore a mysterious cave where you can see ice all year round. The cave, which has been designated as a natural monument, is worth a visit. This tour, which has a deep connection with the birth of Mt. Fuji, is full of discoveries, surprises, fun, and educational stories. Refresh yourself in nature. English guide available,
Our guide, Toshi San, was very informative. He explained the features of the forest; the animals, plants and organisms that maintain the ecosystem; and the history of the forest and the lava caves. The forest was amazing. When we reached the entrance of the cave, it seemed we entered another dimension. It’s a tour that made our Fuji trip memorable. It is definitely a side of the Fuji Kawaguchiko area that needs to be discovered.
