Electric cycling and exploring unexplored areas at a hidden spot just over an hour west of Shinjuku! A local guide will take you on a special route through the scenery of nature and Satoyama, which is hard to believe that you are in Tokyo. With the help of an electric assist, you can easily climb the slope, encounter a huge tree, greet the fish swimming in the clear stream, throw stones in the river, take a break on the wooden deck overlooking the valley, and buy some local sweets. This is a fulfilling tour where you can enjoy the beauty of the valley, nature, and hidden spots that you won't believe are in Tokyo, as if they were attractions. For lunch, you can enjoy a special Cuban sandwich lunch box while relaxing on an outdoor chair in the valley (canyon chairing experience) (both the chairing and lunch box are included in the price). This is a 6km walking tour that starts from the north exit of Shimoakatsuka Station on the Tobu Tojo Line and ends at Nishi-Takashimadaira Station on the Toei Mita Line. We will visit Akatsuka Botanical Garden, Tokyo Great Buddha, Akatsuka Fudo Falls, Itabashi Art Museum, Akatsuka Castle Ruins Park, and Itabashi Local Museum. At the botanical garden, you can see beautiful seasonal flowers such as camellias, plums, cherry blossoms, roses, sunflowers, tulips, and cosmos, as well as Japanese gardens, bamboo groves, and recreated forests. The Tokyo Great Buddha is a very large Buddha statue, measuring 13 meters from its pedestal and its head measuring 3 meters. Akatsuka Fudo Falls (a small spring water about 1 meter high) is a place where Shugendo perform purification before training.
