How about a mountain bike in Hachimantai / Appi where you can feel the nature of the four seasons? The scenic Hachimantai / Appi area, which is typical of Tohoku, has broad-leaved trees such as beech, birch, and oak, and gentle hills that spread from the foot of the mountains. Why don't you enjoy the nature of each season with MTB, such as spring when the fresh green and refreshing breeze are comfortable, summer when the sky and sunlight through the trees are refreshing, and autumn where you can run leisurely while watching the autumn leaves! ?? The depth of bike control and the pleasure of speed. A sense of accomplishment that you can get with your own strength. Please fully feel the charm unique to mountain biking. Experienced guides will safely support children and the elderly. Experienced people can also experience full-scale downhill! !! Lunch time is also a special time.
We had originally booked the normal mountainbike tour, but upgrades to the electric one due to the heat. I would suggest that everyone take the electric version! It is a bit more expensive, but it makes for a fantastic experience whilst not overburdening yourself. The instructions were very clear. The guides were extraordinary: kind, patient and with a lot of humour. We're a family of 4, with two kids ages 11 and 13. We all enjoyed it and the guides made sure everyone could enjoy it. We enjoyed the ride, nature, everything!

Winter has come to Yamagata again this year! Let's go on a snowshoe hike and snowboard ride to fully enjoy the abundant snow! ! A snow play tour where you put on snowshoes and snow hike through the snowfields with a guide, and when you arrive at the best spot, enjoy a snowboard ride. A nature guide who conveys the joy of nature will accompany you and give a lecture on how to walk on snowshoes and ride on a snowboard, as well as the unique fun of winter. What is a snowboard? Snowboards and snowtoys are a unique Japanese culture that was born from the idea of sliding through the snow with a wooden board. These simple toys, which have no edges or soles and are coated with varnish or resin and have a non-slip surface where you place your feet, spread quickly throughout snowy countries, giving birth to creative shapers all over the country and are still spreading rapidly (from the BUDDHABLANK website). It is an easy-to-enjoy activity that does not have bindings or edges, and you just place your feet on the non-slip surface of the board and slide. It is similar to skateboarding and surfing, and one of its features is that it can be enjoyed easily with boots or snow boots! During the tour, we will also hold "Nature Games" using natural items. You'll have to wait until the day to find out what kind of games will be held! For a short break, we will also offer Nagai's original blend coffee and sweets. In addition to coffee, we will also provide sweet drinks such as cocoa. You can also bring your own sweets! *Please take your trash home with you. As a tour perk, we will include a bathing ticket for "Ayame Onsen New Sakurayu," so please make use of it. An experience activity where you can encounter a different view of the world than ever before! Tree climbing is an experience where you can climb a tree using a special rope, saddle (safety belt), and safety protective gear, and experience a sense of unity with trees, forests, and nature. activity. You can make new discoveries by looking at the forest from a different perspective, "from the top of the tree", and by experiencing the nature of the top of the tree using your five senses. Spend time climbing the same tree with family and friends, camping in a tree using a tree boat (a type of hammock), birdwatching and observing nature, and the possibilities are endless. From children to adults, and even challengers (we call people with disabilities who work hard every day as challengers), in the process of looking up at a tree and setting their own goals and climbing it with their own strength, courage and confidence grow. As you come, you will get a feeling of satisfaction that you have never tasted before. Hands-on activities are an endless challenge to yourself and are never meant to compete with others, so the key is to enjoy them at your own pace. Come on, let's climb a tree together! You're not the only one playing a role in tree climbing, making friends with trees and developing a sense of respect for nature. Trees, forests, all natural environments play a leading role. I enter the forest with the feeling of "Please play with me today" to the tree that will experience tree climbing. When you climb a tree and become friends with it, and when you come down from the top of the tree, you will develop a "heart" that values nature. History of tree climbing Today, in America, the birthplace of tree climbing, tree climbing is a technique developed by American arborists to manage trees and preserve genetic resources. Arborists have a global organization called ISA (International Society of Arboriculture). Originally, tree climbing was a technique reserved for some arborists, but in 1983, Peter Jenkins established Tree Climbers International (TCI) in Atlanta, Georgia so that the general public could enjoy it as a recreational activity. An organization was established and spread. Starting with the United States, TCI has expanded its network to Canada, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, and Japan.
